The 737 APU Cradle, P/N CFT 80114-25, is designed specifically to aid in the installation and removal of the Garrett APU in the 737 aircraft.  Each cradle is manufactured with the focus on quality to assure safe lifting and handling of the APU.

The cradle is manufactured using 6061-T6 aluminum and the attachment forks are made from 4130 carbon steel.  The components are painted using epoxy based paint per customer requirements.  Yellow is the standard color; however customized colors are available at no extra charge.

Each cradle is load tested to 2.0 times proof load utilizing NIST certified gauges to assure each cradle meets quality standards prior to shipment.  Additionally, dye penetrant or mag particle inspections are performed prior to and following load testing.
