The CRJ Nose Weight Ballast is designed specifically as the nose center of gravity ballast weight to maintain forward center of gravity for the CRJ aircraft.

The weight ballast is manufactured from lead using a meltdown and molded process with associated die.  The attachment plate and jack pad are made from A-36 or 4140 carbon structural steel.

Each nose weight ballast is load tested to 1.5 times proof load utilizing NIST certified gauges to assure each ballast weight meets quality standards prior to shipment.
